 Abstract:  The Citizens League of Greater Cleveland is a Cleveland, Ohio, civic organization founded in 1896 to encourage citizen participation in municipal affairs, disseminate information, promote honest and efficient government, and elect competent public officials. Originally called the Municipal Association and later the Civic League, it was reorganized in 1923 as the Citizens League. The collection consists of candidate information questionnaires, correspondence, reports, pamphlets, memoranda and newspaper clippings relating to political candidates in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

 Abstract:  William Mack (born 1928) was a candidate for the United States House of Representatives from Ohio's 21st District in 1970. He was also a candidate for Ohio state representative in 1968. The collection consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, newsletter and printed publications of the Republican Congressional Committee, throwaways, posters, speeches, press releases, and printed source materials on campaign issues, relating principally to William Mack's congressional campaign, and tally sheets of votes cast in the 21st Congressional District (Cuyahoga County) elections of 1966 and 1968.
